Abstract:
Building and opening a new runway is a complex task with careful consideration of many different components essential to its successful delivery in a timely and cost-effective manner. Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Ltd (BAC) is in the final stages of delivering its new parallel runway (NPR) and can attribute the achievements of the project to date to detailed planning, extensive stakeholder engagement, careful attention to project co-ordination and strong client involvement in engineering design and construction.
