Airport automation in Australasia: A possible way forward

Abstract: As airports have evolved into commercial entities, the need to both improve commercial returns and interact with multiple other stakeholders has increased. This paper takes a managerial perspective to airport automation in respect of both Australia and New Zealand and proposes a more collective approach to moving forwards with key stakeholders such as airlines and air traffic management providers.
