Moving your business continuity management programme forward with recoverability measurement

Michael Harding

Journal of Business Continuity & Emergency Planning, 2018, vol. 12, issue 2, 113-118

Abstract: Business continuity professionals have traditionally focused on metrics pertaining to the number of tasks, the frequency in which they are completed, and the last time the tasks were performed. This paper suggests that it is time to elevate business continuity programmes to the next level. It describes how to set up a programme for recoverability measurement, and shares tools that can be used to measure and benchmark.
