Bright lights, big city, small boxes: Designing for the New York norms
Carly Tysh
Journal of Brand Strategy, 2016, vol. 5, issue 3, 256-265
Abstract:
This paper is based on a presentation given by the author and Iva Guarino from Lowe’s at the WPP Global Retail Forum in Miami, 2016. It builds upon the work that FITCH did with Lowe’s, the secondlargest hardware chain in the USA, to create two unique small-format urban stores in New York City, sharing essential insights and best practices for big-box brands looking to find a place in growing urban markets.
