Reinstatement cost assessment for insurance purposes: The valuation process

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to highlight the purpose of, and outline the methods of building reinstatement valuation (BRV) (also known as reinstatement cost assessment (RCA)) for insurance purposes. The paper looks at some of the common pitfalls of the RCA process.
