Lift maintenance for building managers and surveyors

Colm Rushe

Journal of Building Survey, Appraisal & Valuation, 2017, vol. 6, issue 1, 31-38

Abstract: Lifts are a complex form of transport employed throughout the world today. Their use is highly regulated by both local and European regulations. In some cases, these regulations form part of a suite of regulations dealing with various aspects of building operations. It is very important that persons in control of lift equipment understand their obligations and execute them. Failure to do so can have a significant impact upon the life cycle of lift equipment or lead to accidents.
