The Digital Economy Act: What surveyors need to know about changes to the law on telecommunications equipment

Abstract: This paper suggests that, given the imminent implementation of the new Electronic Communications Code under the provisions of the Digital Economy Act 2017, property owners and their surveyors and valuers should act now to review what telecommunications equipment they have on their property, the legal basis upon which it is installed and whether any action should be taken.
