Abstract: This paper explores the case of Beaumont Business Centres Limited v Florala Properties Limited [2020] EWHC 550, the first full commercial right to light trial for some years. It discusses the High Court’s findings on the right to an injunction, how light may be assessed and how compensation should be considered.
