Regulatory sandboxes as a support tool for financial innovations

Abstract:
This paper presents an analysis of the global approaches to the creation of regulatory sandboxes, that is ‘safe spaces’ where businesses can test their innovative products and services in a live environment without risks of breaching financial regulations. The authors present the cases of the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
