Abstract:
This paper provides a short report on a project to establish and maintain a web-based digital asset collection to serve the needs of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Pharmacy Dean’s Office communications projects. The repository is intended to handle an initial collection of 7,500 digital assets, but to be able to grow to over 28,000 assets. The project entailed the design and implementation of a database schema for the ResourceSpace digital asset repository, and vocabularies and asset tagging guidelines, which are illustrated in the paper.
