New technologies and innovation in digital asset management

Jason Bright and Peter Pearson

Journal of Digital Media Management, 2012, vol. 1, issue 2, 158-161

Abstract: HTML5 and the Google Web Toolkit offer a robust platform for digital asset management (DAM) development. These technologies can be used to create rich, widget-based interfaces without relying on plug-ins or other client-side software. This results in DAM systems that are fundamentally accessible across all devices that can browse the web.
