Abstract:
This paper details the work to create an alternative linked open data (LOD) interface, Navigator, to display data from the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project digital collection. This interface development is a culminating project in a larger LOD investigation and this paper details how LOD concepts form a foundation to optimise the expression of relationships between agents (people and groups) and information resources in the application. The essential LOD principles guiding the project are presented, along with lessons learned and important decision points from the project.
