Abstract:
This paper describes a pilot project for the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning Library digitising orphaned VHS assets for delivery via the local instance of Kaltura’s streaming video server. The paper introduces the background and details the theoretical and practical methodology of the project, as well as lessons learned and conclusions reached.
