Abstract:
Human-centred design is not just for web and product designers. The tools and processes they use can be implemented by everyday people to better empathise with their end users, gather critical information and uncover the ‘unknown unknowns’ about system users. This paper describes some of the tools in the designer’s toolkit and how they can be applied to digital asset management configurations. It also includes a case study, which explores how consulting firm Optimity Advisors helped a client develop a customised experience for digital asset management.
