Alexander Brown and Matthew Dyer

Journal of Data Protection & Privacy, 2016, vol. 1, issue 1, 8-27

Abstract: The EU General Data Protection Regulation will apply in EU member states from 25th May, 2018, bringing about fundamental changes to the data protection and privacy landscape in Europe. This paper discusses some of the changes that the Regulation will impose and the effect that these are likely to have on organisations processing personal data, with a particular focus on the legal environment in the UK.
