Abstract:
It has become all but banal to observe that the digital age is changing how marketers must market. However, it is essential not to let the banality belie the urgency. Although adapt-or-perish is nothing new in business, what is new is the breakneck pace. To avoid putting the brand at risk of ‘so last-century’ status, it is critical to adapt as fast as the ceaseless parade of new platforms, devices, applications, social media and market expectations demand. Even seasoned marketers find this overwhelming. But where to begin? This paper offers seven sound strategies. Although it focuses on the financial services industry, the strategies apply to verticals across the board.
