Abstract:
Banks and their corporate customers are facing many competing business and technology drivers in the current economic climate. This paper looks at the enabling technologies which both support and disrupt payments within corporate and bank environments, and it examines the hypothesis that investment in new technology is now both needed and justified within these organisations. In addition to discussing the trend towards and benefits of single payment hubs within banks, this paper focuses on the opportunities and challenges for corporates in the current payments landscape.
