The implications of the Payment Services Directive and the Second E-Money Directive

Abstract: The Payment Services Directive has been in force since 10th October, 2009, and the Second E-Money Directive came into force across all EU States on 30th April, 2011. This paper looks at the implications of the new legislation and considers how, when and what effects will be felt in the industry.
