Abstract: Today, most supply chains are intricately connected both across enterprises and also across geographical locations. Therefore, any disruption at any point in the supply chain could potentially disrupt the entire chain. There are some factors that are within the control of the enterprise, and others that are external to the enterprise. This paper looks at various types of mitigation actions to alleviate supply chain disruption, including Big Data analytics.
