Journal of Securities Operations & Custody, 2012, vol. 4, issue 4, 369-374
Abstract:
Discussions about risk and risk prevention are taking place at all levels these days. The paper highlights certain areas in which sub-custodians are actively taking risk and helping to mitigate it. Moreover, it reflects challenges which arise from new regulations, specifically by T2S in the broader context of risk. The author highlights the role of sub-custodians in managing existing risk and shows ongoing actions of sub-custodians to create an environment which is sustainably capable of reducing risk.
