Managing your career in risk post-credit crunch

Abstract:
The current market poses an interesting and exciting time for risk professionals in financial services. In this paper, senior risk business heads in the finance sector comment on how the market has reacted to the last three years of economic turmoil and what is in store for 2011. Undoubtedly, there has been a distinct change in the recruitment market with a substantial increase in the demand for risk professionals and a more internationally mobile workforce. The paper pinpoints the key considerations of a career in risk and how changes in the recruitment process may affect risk employees' decisions about their next career move.
