Abstract:
The article systematizes, analyzes and interprets the need and relevance of strategic trade control for goods, the essence, types and classification of strategic goods, determination scheme of strategic goods, the structure of the export control system in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the main legislative acts regulating national export control and the requirements of international conventions in relevant area, the procedure and rules for verifying the issuance of special permits for transactions with these goods, cases of suspension and cancellation of special permits, export control functions of government bodies and institutions, measures of administrative and criminal liability for violation of the law on export control, identifies weaknesses in the relevant field and made proposals to improve the export control system.
