Abstract:
The effects of the financial crisis and the changes in the regulatory context will lead to a revision of business models for the distribution of financial services. A research conducted for the period 2006-2012 on 27 Italian banks, divided in specialized networks, traditional banks and banking groups, shows the importance of comparing the different strategic choices made in order to improve the efficiency and flexibility of the different distribution models
