Abstract: Migration, terrorism and financial crisis are the three main challenges Europe needs to find proper responses. Hard work is required from the EU Institutions and Member States to keep the European project on course and to adopt the necessary reforms at different levels: political, institutional, defense, migration, economic. It is important to complete Banking, Fiscal, Economic and Political Union and to create a real Capital Markets Union. Bank’s strengthening requires a sound supervision and a level playing field in regulation, while non performing loans reduction must be balanced and flexible
