Abstract:
Italian banks are facing a difficult scenario: zero growth of the economy, higher cost of funding and new regulatory burdens arising from Basel 3.Among their possible choices are the rationalization of the distribution system, but the application of more stringent rules can also be an opportunity to redefine the budget structure and business models.
