Abstract:
In a changing economy, banks and companies have to face not only a problem of information asymmetry, but also of knowledge asymmetry. The latter is hampering the processes of companies innovation, restructuring and growth and, more generally, the evolution of production systems. It is therefore necessary, Maurizio Baravelli argues in his new book, to adopt adequate organizational strategies, a cultural change, new approaches and operational models, and above all new banking business models that can sustain the risks of financing investments and innovation
