Abstract:
Italian banks, deeply transformed after the ‘90s, has been able to withstand the deepest recession. After the crisis,they have reduced costs and bad loans and increased equity. Now the banks can foster growth financing the most deserving firms, if the economic policy will create a new scenario and restart consumption and investments
