Abstract: The closed-end Alternative Investment Funds (Aif) are experiencing a positive momentum thanks to the possibility offered by such financial instruments to focus on medium to long term strategies, implemented by the means of investments in asset classes of real economy. The industry seems to agree on the convergence of actions and tools supporting the expansion of the investor base of Aifs underwriters. A strengthened collaboration between product manufacturing and distribution would make synergic the definition of investment vehicles with their commercialization, improving investors protection and disclosure of the Aif
