Economic Studies journal, 2012, issue 4, 47-78
Abstract:
This study presents a variant for synthesis of the essential categories utility and value on the level of society. The labour theory of value and the theory of marginal utility are the starting base. Worth (as distinct from value) is the integrating category. That is why the synthesis can be called common theory of worth. It should be understood as a framework for the explanation of the essence of the functioning of the economy and as a result of the application of a new, organic approach.
