Abstract: The article observes the results of recently implemented and ongoing research on current trends, challenges and economic and social dimensions of the development of the economy and society on national and international levels in the context of the European integration, convergence and cohesion discussed at the Jubilee International Conference, organised by the Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
