Bulgarian Higher Education within the European Edu-cation System – Troubleshooting of Financial Problems

Abstract:
At attempt was made to recapitulate the problems facing the higher education system in Bulgaria, analyzing its status in the context of the European education. The effects of external and internal factors for our country are presented, pursuant to the characteristic features of the state. The factors having the greatest impact on the Bulgarian higher education system are studied in terms of the reforms therein. The financial issues in this sphere are analyzed. Possible solutions are pointed out and evidences are given that the higher education should play a decisive role in shaping an adequate organization proficiency. The study is based on qualitative methods.
