Determinants of Consumer Demand of Foods in Bulgaria

Petko Todorov

Economic Thought journal, 2010, issue 4, 88-97

Abstract: The results of an empirical analysis of the consumer behavior are presented in view of the demand of foods in Bulgaria. The principles of income allocation in the family budgets for food expenses are presented on the grounds of regression and correlation analysis. A preference tree is outlined, specifying the consumer motivations and describing the causal chain of food demand.
