Prerequisites for "Green" Employment in Bulgaria

Abstract: The opportunities for "green" employment and economy have been investigated in this article. They could be used to restructure the economy and overcome the crisis. The concept of "green" employment, with prerequisites and trends for its development in Bulgaria is presented. The various aspects of the problems related to this kind of employment are highlighted with the high degree of relativity of the definitions of "green" jobs. The necessity of development of quality "green" jobs is focused, based on the involvement of up-to-date technologies. The environmentally friendly industries and employment could be the comparative advantages of the national economies, based on knowledge.
