Abstract: The main objective of this research paper was to investigate the correlation between the buying patterns of consumers for green products and general products. The hypothesis that was made in accordance with the topic at hand was that the buying patterns of green and general product comove with each other. The hypothesis was assessed by the past research literature reviews where arguments in favor and in against of hypothesis were compared and result was generated. The result was seen in favor of hypothesis and it is then concluded that factors like price, social media & advertising and eco-friendliness of the product make people to show same buying behavior for both general and green products where the major impact on buying pattern for general and green products was due to price and other factors were less effective than price.
