Abstract: This research delves into the evolving landscape of language learning in higher education institutions in Cameroon, specifically addressing the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the University of Maroua. The research explores the implementation of AI-powered tools and methodologies in language education, examining their effectiveness in enhancing linguistic proficiency. Additionally, it investigates the attitudes and perceptions of both educators and students towards the integration of AI in language learning. The study also considers potential challenges and opportunities associated with this technological shift, contributing valuable insights to the broader discourse on the intersection of AI and education in the Cameroonian context.
