Abstract: Adopting a sustainable approach in production processes and activities in the construction industry is considered one of the best strategies that support the direction of sustainability and promote the development of the green approach in this industry and contribute effectively to providing environmentally friendly construction products that have high reliability and credibility that gives the product the ability to compete efficiently in the market and facilitate the consumers’ purchase options. This paper discusses to highlights the importance of adopting an environmental product declaration for the products in the construction industries while determining the benefits of using it for manufacturers and the other stakeholders in the construction sector, in addition to identifying the obstacles that hinder its implementation in the construction industries.
