Abstract: This study investigates the impact of using instructional videos on improving students’ knowledge and practical skills in daily inspection and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment. The research aims to: (1) examine the increase in students’ knowledge of the daily inspection program, (2) analyze the improvement of practical skills in executing the preventive maintenance program, and (3) compare the differences in knowledge mastery and practical skills between students using instructional videos and those who do not. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving eleventh-grade students from a heavy equipment engineering program. Data were collected using a questionnaire administered to both control and experimental groups. The results show that the control group had an average pretest score of 62.67 and a post-test score of 73.50, while the experimental group improved from 63.00 to 84.17. The experimental group showed a greater score increase (21.17) compared to the control group (10.83). Hypothesis testing revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with a t-value exceeding the t-table value at a 5% significance level (9.050 > 1.69726) and a p-value of less than 0.05 (0.000
