Abstract: Expanding hospitality and showing respect to guests is an appreciable culture and an essential symbol of outstanding manners in Islamic society. Islam has placed a great standing on hospitality. This research identifies the significance of hospitality, its values, and ethical standards of the host and the guest as well as its impact on the Muslim community. In this research, some verses from the holy Quran, traditions, and aphorisms about the hospitality of the Sunnah of the prophet (PUH) and the opinion of Islamic jurisprudence are used as a sources. The research also focused on the prominence of hospitality in our present society and revealed the significance of hospitality from both a guest’s and host’s point of view according to the Quran and Sunnah.
