Abstract: This research chose as locus a public Elementary School and aimed to develop methodological proposals for the teaching of the keyboard in the classroom and extra class activities. Readings and research were made in the field of Education and Music Education. The interlocution among different areas of human knowledge made the learning of the students easier on a path where they themselves showed an interest in learning music. The subject of the activities was the story of the german composer Ludwig van Beethoven and the possible sonorities of the grand and luxurious ship of the early twentieth century, RMS Titanic. Thus, music had a special meaning in the lives of students who learned in this alternative way.
