Abstract: The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the factors affecting employee retention and turnover of the SLIATE. There are many factors which affects the employee’s work but there are some major factors which influence them to leave the organization. Employee retention is one of the major challenge faced by the SLIATE due to which the turnover rate of employee increases. SLIATE is attracted by many people day by day and it need more employees but due to the labour exhausting job and challenging work most of the people leave the SLIATE early and look for better opportunities. The research is focused to find out the major factors which influence the staff to leave and to measure the gender, age and length of service effects the level of satisfaction of retention factors.
