Abstract: This study explores the relationship between cyberbullying victimization and depression among technical school students in Zhuhai, China, and examines whether psychological security plays a mediating role. A total of 381 students participated in the survey through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS 26.0. Results showed a significant positive correlation between cyberbullying victimization and depression, but no significant effect of psychological security as a mediator. The findings suggest that cyberbullying directly contributes to depression among technical school students, highlighting the need for targeted mental health support and prevention strategies in vocational education settings.
