Abstract: Purpose: To aim of the study was to analyze the influence of charismatic leadership on organizational innovation: evidence from the South Africa. Methodology: This study adopted a desk methodology. A desk study research design is commonly known as secondary data collection. This is basically collecting data from existing resources preferably because of its low cost advantage as compared to a field research. Our current study looked into already published studies and reports as the data was easily accessed through online journals and libraries. Findings: The study on charismatic leadership and organizational innovation in South Africa found that charismatic leaders significantly boost innovation by inspiring and motivating employees. These leaders foster a culture of creativity, leading to higher engagement and risk-taking, which drives the adoption of new ideas and technologies. The research concluded that charismatic leadership is crucial in enhancing organizational innovation, especially in South African businesses facing economic challenges. Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: Transformational leadership theory, self-concept theory of charismatic leadership & innovation diffusion theory may be used to anchor future studies on the influence of charismatic leadership on organizational innovation: evidence from the South Africa. Organizations in South Africa, especially SMEs, should invest in leadership development programs that focus on cultivating charismatic leadership qualities. By training leaders to be more visionary, empathetic, and communicative, organizations can foster a culture of innovation and create a work environment conducive to creativity and change. Policymakers should recognize the importance of leadership development in driving innovation and consider policies that encourage the cultivation of charismatic leadership within both the public and private sectors.
