Predicament Faced by Regionalism Product Design Based on Chinese Cultural Context

Abstract: This article introduces how regionalism has emerged in the context of economic globalization, and how this trend has spread to the field of product design. And based on the Chinese market, a case study was conducted on regionalized design, discussing how they behave in terms of regionalism and why they receive different evaluations from society. In the end, the article discusses the main challenges faced by the localization of regionalist design in China, what are they, and how they are formed.
