Abstract: This investigation delves into the symbiotic relationship between medical informatics and the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), within the healthcare sector. The study’s objective is to elucidate how these innovations catalyze medical evolution, refine diagnostic precision, and treatment efficacy, while also streamlining resource distribution and ensuring alignment with healthcare policies and regulations. Through a comprehensive review of literature, case studies, and empirical research, this study underscores the pivotal role of medical informatics in enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. It also identifies challenges such as technological integration complexities, data security and privacy concerns, and the necessity for policy and regulatory adaptability. The findings provide evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, healthcare institutions, and practitioners, charting a course for the ongoing evolution and innovation within medical informatics.
