“The Championship of Ailing Gu”: A Critical Discourse Analysis

Abstract: This article draws on the CDA structure to analyse two post-game reports about Ailing Gu. By conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, this article aims to explore how sports journalism can be manipulated by political ideology on a lexical and transitivity level.
