Analysis of the scope of the results of the bank lending survey in relation to credit data

Abstract: In addition to the regular monitoring of banks’ lending behaviour and of the determinants of their customers’ demand, the bank lending survey enables us to obtain a set of advanced indicators of short-term credit developments.
