Abstract: On 12 December 2012, the Banque de France organised a symposium on assisted microcredit. It was attended by 150 participants. This event addressed a number of different aspects of microcredit and its role in the prevention of overindebtedness and financial inclusion. The Governor announced the creation of two prizes to reward the exemplary nature and quality of projects benefiting from a personal and professional microcredit respectively.
