Euro banknotes and coins in France in 2013

Abstract: In 2013, net issuance of banknotes rose by EUR 6.1 billion. This increase, mainly attributable to demand for banknotes for transaction purposes (10€, 20€, and 50€), has tended to slow down over the past few years. Coin issuance also decelerated.
