It begins by exploring the origins of the term "emerging markets" and the various countries categorized under this label. The article delves into the defining characteristics of these markets, including their economic potential, political environments, and the unique challenges faced by local players. It further examines the role of emerging markets in global trade and investment flows, highlighting the increasing influence of these economies on the world stage. The study also focuses on the emerging cities within these markets, which are becoming significant growth drivers, and concludes with an analysis of the growing commercial relationship between China and Latin America, marking it as a crucial axis in the global economy.
