Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of concepts related to development management and considers various aspects of the definition of this concept. The authors analyze various scientific approaches to the formation of the development of business organizations. The author's approach to the formation of a system of key measurement indicators and methods of assessing the level of development of a business organization is formed in the article. The study highlights the need for continuous improvement and development of companies to ensure sustainability and their competitiveness in today's uncertain business environment. The activity of the business organization was considered and a tree of goals for the strategic development of this company was proposed.
